Ecommerce automation that runs the busywork for you

An ecommerce automation agency builds the systems behind your store — orders, inventory, email, and support — so the repetitive work runs itself. We wire n8n and AI into Shopify or WooCommerce, with a human owning the customer experience.

01 / MAP

Audit how orders, stock, marketing, and support actually move through your store today.

02 / BUILD

Wire n8n and AI into Shopify or WooCommerce with auth, guardrails, and logs.

03 / AUTOMATE

Run the busywork on autopilot — every customer-facing action stays under your control.

Founder-led ecommerce automation since 2014 — real store workflows, not demos.

~/what-it-is

Ecommerce automation is more than one app. It’s the whole back office.

Ecommerce automation means connecting the repetitive work behind your store — operations, marketing, and support — into a controlled pipeline that runs without someone copy-pasting between tools. It’s not a single Shopify app or a Zapier zap bolted to a form. It’s order and fulfilment routing, inventory kept in sync across channels, lifecycle email firing on real events, and support triaged before a human ever opens the ticket.

Netholics builds this on the tools your store already exposes: the Shopify and WooCommerce APIs for orders, products, and customers, n8n for orchestration, and the Claude API for drafting and classification. Nothing is locked into a closed per-task SaaS, and every automated action is logged and reversible — so you automate aggressively without losing the customer experience.

~/what-we-automate

What we automate behind your store

Orders & inventory ops

Orders route to the right fulfilment path, stock syncs across Shopify, WooCommerce, and your 3PL, and low-stock or oversell risks raise a flag before they cost you a sale.

Marketing & email flows

Abandoned-cart, welcome, and post-purchase flows fire on real store events through Klaviyo or your ESP — segmented, timed, and enriched with order data instead of guesswork.

Support & customer experience

Incoming tickets and WISMO (“where is my order”) questions get triaged by AI, drafted with order context, and routed to a human for the calls that actually need one.

~/the-system

What an ecommerce automation system includes

Each piece removes manual work without taking humans out of the decisions that touch the customer.

01

Order & fulfilment routing

Authenticated workflows that read new orders, apply your rules, and push them to the right 3PL, supplier, or fulfilment queue automatically.

02

Inventory sync across channels

Stock levels kept consistent across your storefront, marketplaces, and warehouse — with alerts on low stock and oversell risk.

03

Abandoned-cart & lifecycle email

Event-driven flows in Klaviyo or your ESP — abandoned cart, welcome, win-back, post-purchase — triggered by real store data, not a static schedule.

04

AI support triage

Claude classifies and drafts replies to incoming tickets with full order context, escalating anything ambiguous to a human before it sends.

05

Reporting dashboards

Daily summaries of sales, stock, fulfilment, and support — built from your own store data and delivered where your team works.

~/why-n8n-for-ecommerce

Why build it on n8n and custom systems

Because real stores need logic that spans tools. Shopify Flow only knows Shopify; Zapier charges per task and chains break as they grow. n8n is open-source orchestration you can self-host, so you automate across your store, 3PL, ESP, and CRM in one place — without per-task fees, vendor lock-in, or your order data passing through someone else’s black box.

We’re honest about the trade-off: for simple, single-platform tasks, off-the-shelf is fine — a native Shopify Flow or a quick Zap will do. We build custom when the logic gets complex, crosses tools, or needs AI in the loop. We start with an AI Systems Audit to find where automation creates real leverage, and it’s the same engine behind our WordPress AI automation work — own your infrastructure, automate without renting the workflow.

~/how-it-runs

How the automation actually runs

A store event — a new order, an abandoned cart, a support message, or a fresh review — fires a webhook into an n8n workflow. n8n calls the Claude API to draft or classify, then acts through your connected tools: the CRM, your ESP, or the 3PL. Anything customer-facing waits on human approval, and every step is logged.

~/faq

Ecommerce automation questions.

What can an ecommerce automation agency automate?

The repetitive work behind a store: order and fulfilment routing, inventory sync across channels, lifecycle and abandoned-cart email, AI support triage, and reporting. The goal is to remove manual copy-paste between tools while keeping a human on anything that touches the customer.

Does this work with Shopify and WooCommerce?

Yes. We build on the official Shopify and WooCommerce APIs through n8n, so your store, theme, and admin stay exactly where they are. We add an automation layer on top of the platform you already run — no migration required.

n8n vs Shopify Flow or Zapier?

Shopify Flow only sees Shopify, and Zapier charges per task with chains that get brittle as they grow. n8n is self-hosted and handles cross-tool logic and AI in one place, with no per-task fees. For simple single-platform tasks, off-the-shelf is fine — we build custom when it gets complex.

Will automation hurt the customer experience?

Not the way we build it. Customer-facing actions — replies, refunds, messaging — pass through a human-approval gate, and every automated step is logged and reversible. Automation handles the busywork; people keep the judgement calls.
